Bhargavi Kannan

Bhargavi’s primary focus is employment-based immigration law. She has experience working on various types of non-immigrant visa petitions including H-1Bs, L-1s, E-3s, TNs, B-1/B-2s, applications pertaining to F-1 OPT, CPT, EAD and immigrant visa petitions including I-485s, EB-1, I-140s. She also works on family-based immigration petitions including I-130s and K visas. Ms. Kannan has worked with clients from a wide variety of industries including IT, Telecommunication, Biotech, Banking, Steel and Pipe manufacturing, Financial services and Hospitals. Her expertise also includes reviewing complex contracts and synthesizing legal content of such contracts.

Ms. Kannan is a dual licensed attorney admitted to practice law in New York and India. She is the recipient of the “Best Law Student of India, 2018” Award and was awarded a scholarship and an admission to pursue her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, Ms. Kannan worked in the Veterans and Servicemembers clinic where her client won a service connection claim. She is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and has an intermediate level knowledge of German and Telugu.
